Use the dump and restore of rrdtool to migrate between architectures.

However, these are not light processes, so you may want to
consider moving your data collection and data graphing/reporting to the
same architecture to save some headaches.

On my rrd box, mind you it is the the most powerful box in the
world at only 100Mhz ;), it takes about 1 minute 30 seconds to
complete the dump and I stopped the restore after 10 minues.
