Steve -

Do you have the OIB / MIB info for CPU usage for the Netview snmp agent?
I'll try that one on my machine, and if it works, perhaps I can export it
to the other machine.

Thanks.

That's part of AIX, but its the command used to query the data - its not
the agent responsible for responding to that request.

I use the fileset smsia.subagent.obj, which is an snmp agent I originally
got with Netview, but I think is freely available (probably from IBM
downloads, which hey seem to reorganise every few months.)

The command I'm using is an AIX based "snmpinfo."  I can't determine if it
came with AIX 4.3.3, or is an add on for our site.  Does that help?

Depends on the snmp agent you are running. There is not one bundled with
AIX
- but Tivoli/Netview has a bunch of them.

Does anyone know if there is an OIB or MIB for the CPU usage on a Risc
/6000 Server?  I'm trying to poll CPU usage remotely via SNMP, but can't
find if there is a special MIB for it.

Thanks -
