Hey Gowri,
I had that issue recently also. Its because your PERL is not in the PATH. Make sure you have Perl installed as I am sure you do and make sure you have it in your PATH and you should be all set to go...
Also it may be a good idea to run Make Clean to get rid of old Cache and then compile it again...
