As far as I understand this, you will not obtain system
resource data like CPU or disk utilization via RRDTool.

Instead, you have to create routines ( using commands,
scripts or other programs ) that will get that kind of data.
Then you will have to enter that data into a RRD database
using a command line like: "rrdtool update .... ".

Since you have installed RRDtool you should also have access
to the online manuals on this tool.
