[rrd-users] Graph history disappears when server reboots

I have RRDTool running on Windows 2000 to graph SMTP traffic in and out.
Whenever the server has to be rebooted the performance monitor counters I
use to create the graphs are reset to zero.
This in turn blanks the graph and starts building it up from scratch again.
 
Is there a workaround this problem?
