[rrd-users] Compile error with rrd 1.0.33

I get this error when attempting to compile rrd

I am running redhat 6.2 with kernel 2.4.0, This is perl, version 5.005_03
built for i386-linux
compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(also, I tried 1.0.32 to the same effect)
