Since it is a single value and mrtg requires 2 values, so it is feeding the
same info twice

One stupid questio, but i tried to find the explanation and didnt find it.
Why do you repeat the OID in the configuration line ?

> Target[host.itfoperstatus]:1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.999&
> 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.999:whatevercommunity at host
