See the manual page for "rrdtool graph", for instance on the web:
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/manual/rrdgraph.html
Look for "The space following a string can be suppressed".

If that doesn't work, try this:
GPRINT:FIELD2:LAST:last%12.1lf

See the manual for printf.  Search for "sprintf" in google,
feel lucky.
