[rrd-users] modifying 1 value in rrd archive

HI, newbie here.
I've read tutorials in a hurry probably,
but tried with no success to
modify 1 single in an rrd archive:

I tried with "update" (standard syntax)
thinkin' it would have been able to modify PAST VALUES too
but this is the answer I received:

ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 999788100 when last update time
is 1000112202 (minimum one second step)

The error is clear, but does anyone has infos on how to do that?
