[rrd-users] Predicting size of rrd graph

is there any way to predict the size of a graph generated by rrd?

i have a web page which references dynamically created rrd graphs, and
would like to include the size in the href, so that the page is rendered
more quickly and filled in as the graphs are generated.

(i know the size is available as the output of the graph command, but
that's already too late).
