either that, or you may be looking for the "--units-exponent" setting of
`rrdtool graph`.

  you can use a CDEF to to perform arithmetic operations on the
variable, and thus do the alteration I (think) you said you want.

example.. var LOAD

CDEF:LOAD_BLAH=LOAD,1000,/

anyway, I think that answers your question.. I'm not exactly sure what
you were asking
