Hi,

Something to add. why don't you use the same SNMP to query for a particular
OID value like processor utilisation etc and then take the outpur to the RRD
fetch .
To help with some sites which coule help you are located here:

hello,

A while ago, I had asked abt a sar data graphing tool using
RRD. I found sarge that did something similar but using
gnuplot etc. Incidently I have recently come across (thanks
to google!) a RRD based port of sarge.

Pl. check ,
http://www.class5eng.com/software/sarge/sarge.shtml for the
RRD based sarge,
and http://www.vais.net/~efinch/sarge.html for orig sarge.

Subject: [rrd-users] SAR data import in RRD, & graphing

hello,

I think this must have been a popular requirement. But a
search in google doesn't point to any source to get this up
using a pre-existing cfg.

I have just moved from pure mrtg to rrd based mrtg. I
checked the rrd tut but seems rather difficult to me to get
sar graphing up&running soon looking at the docs.

Any pointers to resources ?
