Sure.  But this has nothing to do with perl or with rrdtool.
Even microsoft knows it should use standards in stead of making
their own:
    
    
    C:\>ver

    C:\>dir "C:/mrtg/data

     Volume Serial Number is 04F4-A282
    
     Directory of C:\mrtg\data
