The main problem I see with the patch is it does not allow you to
specify the direction of the graph, you're left with the choice of only
growing the graph to the left or to the right.

Are there any plans in the future to accept a flag or argument to define
the direction the graph flows?

  Check the archives.  IIRC there was a patch to do so.  Stock RRDtool
  doesn't support it.

Does anyone have a pointer to a patch that allows "GrowLeft"?
