No, you can't say that. Assuming you're using a 300-second interval,
and also assuming you're doing this for a GAUGE, you still need to know
one other very important thing.
You're setting the rate for the interval between 1027814100 and 1027814400.
The rate at 1027814400 is valid from the last update until the current one.
So: Was there any update after 1027814100 but before 1027814400 ?
