All-

I am trying to sum data from several (100+) different sources an display
them on a graph. Here is one of my smaller examples:

/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.33/bin/rrdtool graph
/usr/home/bsmith/public_html/gifs/temp.OUT.gif \
--lazy --start -2d --end now \
-v "bps Out" -w 600 -h 150 -r -t "48 Hours-Bandwidth Out" \
DEF:cellsout0=/usr/home/bsmith/trunkdata/mptrrd/atlnga502-Sfldmi501.rrd:cell
sout:AVERAGE \
DEF:cellsout1=/usr/home/bsmith/trunkdata/mptrrd/atlnga502-amstne501.rrd:cell
sout:AVERAGE \
DEF:cellsout2=/usr/home/bsmith/trunkdata/mptrrd/atlnga502-amstne502.rrd:cell

CDEF:bitsout4=cellsout41,cellsout42,cellsout43,cellsout44,cellsout45,cellsou

CDEF:bitsout7=cellsout71,cellsout72,cellsout73,cellsout74,cellsout75,cellsou

CDEF:allbits=bitsout0,bitsout1,bitsout2,bitsout3,bitsout4,bitsout5,bitsout6,
bitsout7,bitsout8,1,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
AREA:allbits#FF0000:"bps Out"

All I get when I run this is a blank graph. If I just graph the small sums
(bitsout0..bitsout8) I get several lines, but they are incomplete. They only
show several incontiguous line fragments (a fews hours worth here, a few
there...) Here is how I generate this graph:

CDEF:bitsout8=cellsout81,cellsout82,424,+,* \
CDEF:bitsout0=cellsout0,cellsout1,cellsout2,cellsout3,cellsout4,cellsout5,ce
llsout6,cellsout7,cellsout8,cellsout9,cellsout10,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout0#000000:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout1=cellsout11,cellsout12,cellsout13,cellsout14,cellsout15,cellsou
t16,cellsout17,cellsout18,cellsout19,cellsout20,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout1#111111:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout2=cellsout21,cellsout22,cellsout23,cellsout24,cellsout25,cellsou
t26,cellsout27,cellsout28,cellsout29,cellsout30,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout2#222222:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout3=cellsout31,cellsout32,cellsout33,cellsout34,cellsout35,cellsou
t36,cellsout37,cellsout38,cellsout39,cellsout40,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout3#333333:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout4=cellsout41,cellsout42,cellsout43,cellsout44,cellsout45,cellsou
t46,cellsout47,cellsout48,cellsout49,cellsout50,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout4#444444:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout5=cellsout51,cellsout52,cellsout53,cellsout54,cellsout55,cellsou
t56,cellsout57,cellsout58,cellsout59,cellsout60,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout5#555555:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout6=cellsout61,cellsout62,cellsout63,cellsout64,cellsout65,cellsou
t66,cellsout67,cellsout68,cellsout69,cellsout70,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout6#666666:"bps Out" \
CDEF:bitsout7=cellsout71,cellsout72,cellsout73,cellsout74,cellsout75,cellsou
t76,cellsout77,cellsout78,cellsout79,cellsout80,424,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,* \
LINE2:bitsout7#777777:"bps Out" \
LINE2:bitsout8#888888:"bps Out"

Each of these RRD's do have valid data and I can generate graphs for each of
them individually.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

-Brent
