Hmm.. it seems there currently is no sqrt function.  So, to answer your
question: Yes, there is a way.  Hack the source and submit the patch.
Take an existing function, look this function up in the current source
"rrd_graph.c" (and rrd_graph.h), cut'n'paste a lot, compile et voila: a
new function is born.
