You need to use the 64 bit counters.  They are described in rfc2233.
It is an rfc which is full of important information. I recommend taking the
time to read it.

Hi there,

I'm trying to use rrd+orca to graph bandwitdh usage on cisco's router. The
problem is when ifInOctects and ifOutOctects reach 4G the counters are
resetted restarting from 0. This cause a wrong graphic.

Maybe this is a FAQ but I found no answer anywhere.

Any help will be appreciated.
