possible problem #1:  "N" is "now" but that is *not* when you got the numbers.
There will be a small difference each time.  This difference will vary from
poll to poll.  This will cause jitter.

If this is the case, the next (or previous) interval would have a similar error
but in the opposite direction.  If you have multiple "too large" intervals in
a row, this means jitter is not your problem.

possible problem #2:  155.52 Mbps is rounded, is payload etc.  Make sure you
are monitoring what you think you're monitoring.  Perhaps you're also seeing
the framing and signaling?
