No Luck Serge....
The same error
checking for the C compiler perl wants to use to build its modules...
configure:
 test: unknown operator -B/usr/ccs/bin/

Is it because of absence of space between -B and the path.....? It's just my
guess...

Not really. It presume it gets it through the "./configure" script. you
could try to rename cc to old_cc and make a symlink to gcc named cc.

Serge.

Hello Serge,

Well, I'm using gcc 3.2 and I have no clue from where it is picking the
path /usr/ccs/bin...
Any clue..?

My guess: You're not using gcc, but SUNs cc, which probably won't work.
Either install gcc or look up cc's equivalent for the -B switch and
repeat that for all the other switches it doesn't understand.

Serge.
