[rrd-users] x-axis grid and labels

Hi,
Is it possible to format the x-axis labels only and not the base and
major grid lines?  For example, I would like rrdtool to auto configure
the gridlines for me, but I would like to define a label that only
modifies the precision and the label:

-x DEFAULT:DEFAULT:DEFAULT:DEFAULT:DEFAULT:DEFAULT:0:"%H:%M %m/%d" 

But that doesn't work, any thoughts on how to do that??
