Hello rrd-users [:)],

i'm new to this tool, read all i could FETCH from the website,
mailinglist ... but still some questions remain un-answered /
un-spoken.
i would really love to see some idiot's guide to figure out creating a
database. ... like pointing out some examples on using rows / PDPs .. how many of
them i mean in certain situations. like ... the str8 line between ...
i wanna store in a database with a step of 60 seconds ... some
temperatures / cpu-fan rotations ...all kind of weird stuff.
how many PDP .. how many CDP and so on. which is better .. why is
<?this?> better ...

if u haven't figured it out by now .. here it is ..
i'm asking for The Algorithm.
reverse engineering these rows upwards written doesn't help cuz i
don't know what was in Tobias's mind when started typing.
oh yeah .. i understand them .. they work ... but why?
