If you do, I'd like to see the resulting graph.

Will you just "fake" RRDTool into thinking that the 
x-axis is something other than time?

guys, this question had nothing to with the concept of good time or bad
time. rrdtool generates a graph based on time and another variable
(distance - ie. a plane covers a certain distance over a time period).
what i wanted to know was : can rrdtool generate a graph coomparing two
different variables that aren't time related. ( i.e a plane rises to a
certain hieght over a certain distance ). Thanks to Prasad's advice i
think i will be able to this. Sorry I should have explained it better.
