[rrd-users] PHP 4.3 + RRDTool

Has anyone been able to get the PHP4 modules for RRDTool to run successfully 
under PHP 4.3?

Here's my environment:

FreeBSD 4.7
Apache2 (Multithreaded)
PHP 4.3
RRDTool 1.0.41

This is built as  a stand alone module and will be added with dl(), but I get 
an error:

Invalid library (maybe not a PHP library) 'rrdtool.so'

Anyone have experience with this?  Or know of an updated project that might 
not be included in the RRDTool contrib directory?
