You are posting on the RRDtool list, not the MRTG list.

It seems that "withpeaks" works for most of us so I guess
you have a configuration problem or a perception problem.

First dig in the archives of the MRTG list (google is your
friend).  Then, if still necessary, rephrase your question
("it doesn't work" doesn't work, "I expect ... but this is
what I see" works better).

Do use the MRTG list for MRTG related stuff.  This is so
that others can find your question and the answer to it.
