[rrd-users] extracting specified period data from RRD and import it to RRD

Hi,

I would like to export specified period data from RRD.  For example,
Dec. 1 to Dec 10.  Then, I think I should use "rrdtool xport", correct ?

Then, how should I import the XML formatted data to RRD ?
Because, XML data which is exported by "rrdtool xport" does not have
<rrd> statements.  So, "rrdtool restore" showed error.

Please advice me .
