Above paragraph should read:
Running rrdtool update every 'x' seconds where x < step size is OK and
can for instance be used when 64-bit counters aren't available and the
amount of traffic causes 2 counter wraps per run. In that case a
heartbeat setting of (for instance) 120 makes sure at most one wrap can
have occured.
