[rrd-users] question about gauges

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've used rrd. I'd like to measure the number of users on our various networks at 10:30 am and 2:30pm.

So my step is not really standard, ie, it's 4 hours, then 20 hours...So I'm wondering how I should define my DS in rrd? Or do I just let it fill in "unknown" for the values that would be non-standard step times (ie greater than 4 hours)?
