[rrd-users] Compiling RRDTool in Windows

I've tried downloading rrdtool-1.0.40.x86distr.zip and opening the Visual
Studio solution files to compile.  I get a message that many src files are
missing.  I've also tried downloading rrdtool-1.0.41.tar.gz and using the VS
6 solution files, but when opening those I am informed that they are
corrupt.  I am using Visual Studio C++ .NET, on Win2k Server.

Any ideas what files I need to download to compile the files correctly or
what I need to do with the files I already have to get it all to work?
