[rrd-users] about the data inserted in a .rrd file

Hello!
Could you help me with this issue please?
I have created the following .rrd file:

DS:gen_id:GAUGE:600:U:U
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:207360
(the idea is to store 2 years of pure data every 5 minutes)
Then I update the rrd with this data: (included only a few)

The idea here with the 0 value is to indicate a counter wrap and avoid the
peak in the graph. I don't have problem if the graph show a gap! My idea
is to safe the huge peak... but

Where the data was 0 i have somthing like an average ?? What is going on here?
I would like to have an unknown value there or just zero....
Any ideas please?
