That is actually a good question. I have downloaded this rrd file from a 
website. I don't have the answer to that question since there is no such 
information on the website that I am downloading this from. Is there a way 
to find out what platform the rrd is running on?
I am getting this file from the Abilene website. They are running MRTG to 
collect data from the routers.
