  I got problem while compile RRDtool on HP-UX 11.11. I¡¯m using HP ANSI C and gmake and build every from source code. Everything goes fine while using Perl 5.005 but not for perl 5.6 and perl 5.8.
Each time when I compile perl-shared part with perl5.6 or perl5.8, it exits with:
 
LD_RUN_PATH="" ld  -b +vnocompatwarnings -L/usr/local/lib RRDs.o -L../src/.libs/ -lrrd_private   -lm -o blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.sl     
ld: Invalid loader fixup in text space needed in output file for symbol "gdCompareInt" in input file "../src/.libs//librrd_private.a(gd.o)"
 
any one help me? I have programs which can only run on perl 5.6 and above.
