[rrd-users] sendmail stats package?

I have been working on scripts to collect stats from an email server
using sendmail.  

Before I get to far down that road is there an existing package that
parses the log file and produces stats using rrdtool?

Looking on the web site I see one for another MTA but nothing that looks
like it is for sendmail specifically.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
