Difficult but not impossible.  You have to be careful to not change the
duration of an interval in an RRA.  Also, you have to consider the work
RRDtool has already in progress (building PDP and/or CDP).

No offence, but asking the question the way you did, is probably a sign
you should not attempt to try.
