With apologies, I had intended to show two examples:

Subject: Graph Dips
I'm experiencing some symptoms that I haven't had issues with since my
purely MRTG days. Basically, traffic would ramp up to a certain number and
then it was like the peak of the graph was chopped off and started from
zero. I had always suspected counter rollover, but switching from MRTG to
rrdtool as the backend and dropping the polling interval from 5 minutes 1
seemed to alleviate the problem. I was under the impression that rrdtool
had some sort of procedure that compensated for the counter rollover
issue, but sure enough when I look at a graph that hits about 550mbps, it
happens again.
Any help in eliminating this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Jon Hartman
