Oggetto: [rrd-users] Dinamic Upper and Lower limit

Hello!

I need a little help.
I've 2 rrd files with Eth traffic of 2 servers. The average traffic is 500
Kb/s expect during a half hour into the night when 2 servers makes backup 1
time on Sunday (40MBit/s traffic!). With a script I create 4 graphs (last
6h, 24h, 1week, 1m) and I need the following:

If the maximum value in the graph is lower then for example 1 Mbit/s then
the upper (and lower) limit should move to accomodate these values as well
(like default), BUT if the max vaules are higher then 1 Mbit/s the values
(upper and lower limit) should NOT go over this limit. I don't want to
delete the high values!

Setting the "-u 1000000" (-l -1000000) then I've a graph with a max limit
value but If the graph has low traffic I always have the graph with 1000000
fix limit and it's not so nice to read low values.

Is there an option to allow me create a graph as descrived?

I could not set the -u option if there is low traffic but it's into a script
and cannot change it every time.

Thank's

Simon
