[rrd-users] which is best CF for keep "derivate"?

Hi all, I want capture using vmstat page-in and page-out information.
I'm non interested in their value but only in "derivate" function (in variation with sign).
Which is the easyest way to do this?
Do I have to declare DS as DERIVATE and CF as LAST?
