[rrd-users] Removing a DS from an existing RRD

Does anyone know of an easy way to remove a data source (DS) from an 
existing RRD file?

I realize I could dump the RRD to XML, edit the XML, and restore it 
manually.  But I was wondering if anyone had a script or knew of an 
rrdtool command to simplify the operation.
