[rrd-users] rrdtool-1.0.49

I'm doing some custom installing and trying to get rrdtool to install  
without the perl module but I can't seem to get it to build without  
building this module.

I am unable to use the latest version which would require a complete  
rewrite of the environment that will be using the rrdtool app.

Anyone know what the trick is to not having it build the perl module?
