[rrd-users] more than 1 values in specified interval

how r u all ! 

i just want to know what happens if we provide more
than 1 value in specified interval of 300 seconds?

as i am updating databse with N not specifiying the
accurate time.

i think there can be 4 options 

1.rrd tool uses last one
2.rrd tool uses first one
3.rrd tool uses the average of all
4.rrd tool use first one for current 300 second
interval and inserts the second one in next interval
when it comes.

i will be greatful to u.
