i tested that... and it works, but is not what i actually wanted.
if i understand this right, those functions calculate the average,max,current,
whatever, total bandwidth used over a given time.
but there are two problems with that.
1. if i want to calculate the total for 1 day, but there isn't enough data for
1 day yet, i get the total traffic for one day anyway, calculated based on
the current average (etc..).
what i want is the "real" total used. so basically a SUM of the data in the
RRD, for the given time.
2. it doesn't give me an accurate value, because it uses either max, average
etc...
i re-read the manual, and couldn't find a solution for my problem.
so i guess, what i want, doesn't work with rrd :-(
