[rrd-users] Incorrect values

I have been using mrtg/rrdtool and 14all for a while now, but have just 
noticed that gauge values are coming in as decimal values, when these should 
be whole numbers.

Example, current connections:
Maximum Conns: 6.201
Average Conns: 3.249
Current Conns: 2.780

Actual reading is a whole number like 4 when polled using getif.

here is my config:
