[rrd-users] trouble with --start date

Hi, when I try to fetch data from RRA from before a certain date (I can find this 
date with "rrdinfo first"), the returned data are invalid (mostly 'nan' even if 
there have been some data before --end date).

So I thought I'll just use a max(resired-start-date, rrdinfo-first-date) in the 
fetch. But I'm using a Perl bindings and there is no RRA::first.

So I have 2 questions - why are the returned data nonesense and how can I avoid it?
