[rrd-users] stripes.pl: unable to create `random.rrd': start time: unparsable time:

I just suceeded in compiling RRDtool 1.2.9 on HP-UX 11.23, but it seems that I habe a problem with RRDs. I
am starting the stripes.pl example, from the examples directory and I get:

stripes.pl: unable to create `random.rrd': start time: unparsable time:

What kind of error is this? I debugged the $start=time variable and it had a proper UNIX-timestamp.
Any Idea?
