Hi, Nicolas Figaro

i have done what you have said me. But very strange things happens. The
configure does find the right Perl Version which you can see in the
listing,
but first: the RRDs.pm was not created, so i have created manually
(/perl-5.8.7/perl Makefile.PL, make, make install).

Then i modified my mrtg.cfg:  --> LibAdd:
/soft/perl-5.8.7/lib/site_perl/5.8.7/sun4-solaris
                                             --> PathAdd: /soft/perl/bin
                                            -->  PathAdd: /soft/rrdtool/bin

If i now try to start mrtg i get the following error:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ld.so.1: /usr/perl5/5.6.1/bin/perl: fatal: relocation error: file
/soft/perl-5.8.7/lib/site_perl/5.8.7/sun4-solaris//auto/RRDs/RRDs.so:
symbol Perl_sv_2pv_flags: referenced symbol not found
Killed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you seen such an Error bevor? I am really confused

----------------------------------------------------------------
Config is DONE!

          Perl Options: PREFIX=/soft/rrdtool-1.2.11
