[rrd-users] Example question

Using rrdtool 1.2.11, in the example man page, there are things like:

 	VDEF:ds0avg=ds0,AVERAGE,8,*

I'm able to use

 	VDEF:ds0avg=ds0,AVERAGE

but

 	VDEF:ds0avg=ds0,AVERAGE,8,*

gives me:

ERROR: Unknown function string 'AVERAGE,8,*' in VDEF 'ds0avg'

Am I missing something?
