I grabbed a source RPM from Dag and put a CentOS4 build of 1.0.50 on  
ftp.opennms.org://pub/dependencies/rrdtool/centos4.

Sorry for the traffic. This request is on opennms-discuss and opennms- 
install as well. (sigh)
