[rrd-users] Fedora Core 5

I note that the latest release of Fedora Core 5 Add/Remove software offers:

rrdtool - 1.0.49-5.fc4.I386

That is now 20 months old?  (looks like 1.0.49 was released 2004-08-08)

Do any rrdusers know what might be any rrd-related obstacles to getting the FC folks to offer

rrdtool - 1.2.12.fc5.I386

and what the right FC forum might be?  I'm very new to FC forums, so I'm hoping someone here might 
have good advice.
