[rrd-users] Performace: update v/s updatev

Hi,

Is there any significant performance impact of using
the verbose version of update, namely updatev ? We had
a script which updated counters using RRDs::update and
we changed it to RRDs::updatev for the sake of
checking values of various RRAs after the update. It
seems to make the machine significantly slower.
