[rrd-users] missing AVG rpn function

I was looking through the documentation yesterday and came across the
AVG function

I thought this would be great, but to my dismay it doesn't seem to have
actually been implemented.  I couldn't find any reference to it on the
mailing lists or in svn, and wondered if anyone had any information on
this function or ideas for a possible workaround?
